Positivity Always Wins

Sankey Strikers JFC are proud to be supporting the FA's "Positivity Always Wins" campaign. Did you know that 90% of young players play better with positive encouragement? Sankey Strikers (as an FA charted football club) are committed to put positivity front, centre and at the heart of our beautiful game.

Positivity starts with coaches, parents and players:

• Players showing respect towards each other, match officials and oppositions

• Volunteers & committee members making the game more inclusive

• Parents and carers being positive in their support both at match-day and at training days

• Coaches bringing respect and positivity to sessions and matches

Together we can help our players play better, learn through football and feel safe whilst playing.

Positivity also extends to match day - a welcoming and positive environment during match days will help our players and young referees to feel safe, valued and respected. Remember - 90% of players play better with positive encouragement, respecting Match Officials (whatever the outcome or decision) is instrumental in creating a positive & nurturing environment for everyone on match day.
